The Trio Cluster Studs arrange three lab-grown diamonds in a trefoil formation — a classic three-stone cluster that creates the visual impact of a much larger single stone. Each diamond is individually prong-set in a shared mount that draws the stones together for maximum brilliance and a cohesive, floral-inspired silhouette.
Handcrafted in New York from 14K solid gold (white, yellow, or rose), the Trio is designed for those who want more presence than a solitaire stud without the size commitment. The trefoil arrangement catches light from multiple angles simultaneously, creating a lively sparkle pattern that a single stone can't replicate.
Every pair of Trio studs is handcrafted in New York by Ring Premier's bench jewelers. The trefoil mount is cast as a single piece, then each diamond seat is hand-finished to ensure all three stones sit at the same height and angle — creating a uniform, seamless cluster. The shared-prong design minimizes visible metal between stones, allowing each diamond to appear to float beside its neighbors.
Lab-grown diamonds are chemically, physically, and optically identical to mined diamonds — composed of pure crystallized carbon with the same hardness (10 on the Mohs scale), refractive index, and thermal conductivity. The only difference is origin.

A cluster stud creates the visual footprint of a larger single diamond at a lower price point. The three-stone trefoil arrangement also produces a more dynamic sparkle pattern — light bounces between the three stones, creating more scintillation than a single diamond of the same total weight.
Yes. Lab-grown diamonds are real diamonds — identical in every measurable property to mined diamonds. The only difference is origin.
