Every piece we make is covered for life against manufacturing defects, and we service it for life at no charge. This is not an extended warranty you buy; it comes with the ring.
What is covered, for life
- Manufacturing defects in the setting, casting or stone setting
- Prong tightening and re-tipping
- Professional cleaning and polishing
- Rhodium re-plating on white gold
- Stone tightening and inspection under 50x magnification
What is not covered
- Loss or theft — insure the piece separately; we provide an appraisal with every order
- Damage from impact, chemicals or wear beyond normal use
- Work carried out by another jeweler, which voids the warranty on the affected part
- Normal thinning of a band over many years of wear, though we will quote to rebuild it
How to use it
Bring the piece to our New York showroom, or email us and we will send a prepaid insured label. Most service takes five to seven business days from the day it arrives. We will always tell you before we do anything that is chargeable.
Recommended service interval
Every six to twelve months for a ring worn daily. It is free, it takes minutes, and it is how loose stones get caught before they are lost.
