What is a Portuguese cut?
A round-shape lab-grown diamond cut with more facets than a standard round brilliant. The extra facets break light into tighter, brighter patterns — especially noticeable in motion. The result is a stud that reads brighter and more three-dimensional at every size.

How is it different from a round brilliant?
Same round outline. Different facet pattern underneath. A standard round brilliant has 57 facets; the Portuguese cut has more, arranged in overlapping crown and pavilion layers. Side-by-side, Portuguese reads busier and more electric; round brilliant reads cleaner and more classic.

Are the diamonds real and certified?
Yes. Every stone is lab-grown — chemically and optically identical to a mined diamond — and IGI graded and matched as a pair before setting.

What is the Guardian-back closure?
A secure locking backing that sits behind the ear. It grips the post so the stud can't slip off, and includes a small support disc that keeps larger stones sitting upright instead of drooping forward.
