The Florence 3-prong martini setting
Three prongs taper into a narrow, inverted-cone gallery — the shape that gives the martini mount its name. The tapered design seats the diamond lower and closer to the earlobe than a standard basket. With three claws instead of four, less metal covers the crown, so more of the diamond shows face-up.
E VVS2 diamond quality
E color sits in the colorless range, one step below D. VVS2 clarity means inclusions are invisible to the naked eye and difficult to find even under 10× magnification. To a non-specialist in normal lighting, E VVS2 is visually indistinguishable from D VVS1 — at a lower price.

I waited a bit longer then expected but if due to checking and getting it perfect, then it was worth it.
The one thing I would suggest to customers when deciding on the setting is that with a larger stone the martini setting will droop a little.
I debated exchanging them for the 4 prong setting but remembered I had gold, David Yurman backings and they hold the earring up with no drooping.
